Wedding Suites – Rooms with a view
With private access to Mellerstain’s wedding suite, the 2 bridal rooms are luxuriously appointed and offer a truly romantic retreat for your wedding. Each room is beautifully furnished, including a magnificent four-poster bed.
Both rooms offer stunning views down onto Mellerstain’s terraced gardens, and the wide sweep of lawn leading to the lake and rolling landscape beyond. You can wave to your assembled guests in Royal fashion, or take a quiet moment to gather your thoughts away from the party elsewhere in the House.
Bright and airy in summer, the suite is toasty-warm in winter, with heaters, hot water bottles and the promise of a relaxing hot bath, all guaranteed to keep the cold at bay – ideal for couples who are tying the knot in the darker months (the snug sitting-room on the ground floor is also yours to use, and perfect for cosy evening by the log fire).
Each bedroom has full-length mirrors and plenty of hanging space, so you can make sure your dress stays pristine and looks perfect – the two bathrooms mean all the bridal party has space to prepare as well.
All the little things you’d expect are here too – TV/DVD, tea/coffee, ironing facilities – and you have private access to the suite, so any last-minute preparations are out of the glare of the paparazzi!
