Self-Catering Holiday Cottages

For those after more than a day out, Mellerstain is the perfect holiday spot to soak up the many famous attractions of the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and Northumberland.  Our 3 self-catering cottages are located within the grounds and sleep between 4 – 6 people.

The Clock House and Courtyard Cottage

Located in the courtyard, these 2 cottages are a short stroll to the stunning garden terraces, parkland and woodland play area. Both cottages have been converted to a high standard from part of the old Clock House dating from the early 18th Century, and can be interlinked to offer accommodation to sleep 10 + 2 t/cots.

The Clock House Cottage (2 bedroom). Open plan sitting room with with kitchen  and dining area. Cloakroom/WC. First floor: Double bedroom with four poster bed. Twin bedded room. Bathroom/WC (shower over bath).  Free Wi-Fi.  Sleeps up to 4.

The Courtyard Cottage (3 bedroom).  Open plan sitting room with kitchen and dining area. Twin bedded room with ensuite shower room/WC with walk-in shower (accessed also from hall). First floor: Double bedroom with four poster bed and ensuite bathroom/WC. Twin bedded room with ensuite shower room/WC.  Free Wi-Fi. Sleeps up to 6.

Broadband/ Wi-Fi is provided within both courtyard cottages.  Please note this facility cannot always be guaranteed.

West Lodge

This charming 18th century stone cottage enjoys its own garden with stunning views towards the Cheviots. Sitting room with open fire. Dining room with countryside views. Kitchen. Double bedroom with lovely views. Twin bedded room. Bathroom/WC.  Sleeps up to 4.
